Even after the weekly reset, Guardians often hunt for large XP and Bright Dust payouts. Week 7 of Season of the Seraph delivers exactly that, but it also asks players to step into Grandmaster Nightfalls, Competitive Crucible, and Legend Heists. The good news is that several objectives are retroactive, and the rewards are some of the largest available that season.

The weekly checklist includes seven Seasonal Challenges. Below is a complete breakdown of every objective, reward, and the most efficient ways to finish them.
More Than A Weapon VII

The first challenge combines quest progression with boss elimination. Players must complete Week 7 of the 'More Than a Weapon' questline and defeat five Hive or Fallen bosses anywhere in the system. Bonus progress comes from Heist Battlegrounds and the Exotic mission Operation: Seraph's Shield. The reward is an Exo Frame Module and 50,000 XP. Because Operation: Seraph's Shield contains both Hive and Fallen bosses and grants bonus progress, it is the ideal farm for this challenge. Players can also work on Revision Zero Catalyst quests at the same time.
Heist Battlegrounds VI

This objective asks players to complete Heist Battleground missions and defeat combatants using Season of the Seraph or IKELOS weapons. The listed requirement is 35 heists and 200 combatant kills, but all progress is tracked retroactively. Players who have been actively grinding seasonal weapons will likely see most of this already completed. The Exo Frame Module and 50,000 XP reward make it worth picking up an IKELOS SMG and finishing off the remaining kills.
Legendary Heists

Completing a Heist Battleground on Legend difficulty is the single objective here. There is no timer or Champion kill requirement, but matchmaking is disabled. A fireteam found through an LFG Discord or website will make the run much smoother. For solo players, class-specific builds can carry the day:
-
Hunter: Arcstrider with Assassin's Cowl and a One-Two Punch Shotgun for add clear, plus a strong Heavy weapon for the boss.
-
Warlock: Dawnblade with Starfire Protocol for damage, Voidwalker with Devour for sustain, or Shadebinder with Bleak Watcher turrets for crowd control.
-
Titan: Striker with Heart of Inmost Light and Storm Grenades, using Wells of Tenacity or Life for survivability.
Seasonal Shaping II

For this challenge, players need to earn levels with a shaped Seasonal or IKELOS v1.0.3 weapon. Reaching Level 10 on any crafted seasonal weapon completes the objective. Retrofit Escapade and the IKELOS SMG are both excellent choices. The Shuro Chi checkpoint in the Last Wish raid, the opening encounter of Grasp of Avarice, or Throne World Lost Sectors are all fast leveling spots.
Down to Size

This Gambit-focused challenge rewards 50,000 XP and 150 Bright Dust. Players need specific weapon kills:
| Weapon Type | Kills Required |
|---|---|
| Trace Rifles | 100 |
| Glaives | 60 |
| Linear Fusion Rifles | 30 |
Invader kills offer bonus progress, but PvE enemies are the more reliable source. For Trace Rifles, Wavesplitter on a Void subclass with Echo of Instability is a strong option. Any Glaive works, though Judgment of Kelgorath is a solid seasonal pick. For Linear Fusion Rifles, Arbalest or Lorentz Driver are Special weapons that offer better ammo efficiency.
Fleeting Glory

The Competitive playlist gets a lot harder in Season of the Seraph. This challenge awards 100,000 XP and 300 Bright Dust for completing Competitive Crucible matches, with bonus progress for wins. Players should first pick up the Competitive PvP quest from Shaxx on all three characters to earn additional Rose Hand Cannon copies. The best approach is not to take the first seven placement matches too seriously, stick close to teammates, and use a reliable Pulse Rifle. Most players will finish in around eight to ten matches.
Grandmaster

The final big challenge is completing any Nightfall strike on Grandmaster difficulty. It rewards 100,000 XP and 300 Bright Dust. In Season of the Seraph, Grandmaster enemies were set at 1,620 Power, and players needed at least 1,580 Power to attempt the activity, with 1,595 recommended for contest level. Grandmasters are tough, but the subclass and Resilience changes made them more approachable. A well-built fireteam, cautious play, and solid communication are the keys to success.
In summary, Week 7 of Season of the Seraph is a huge Bright Dust and XP opportunity for Guardians who can handle endgame PvE and Competitive PvP. The retroactive challenges make the grind less painful than it first appears, and the class-specific tips for Legend Heists and Grandmaster runs can save a lot of time.
